Mr. Deason is originally from Natchitoches, Louisiana. He moved to the Alexandria area in 1990 when he began practicing law. His primary practice areas include civil defense, personal injury, and government law, as well as general litigation. He graduated from Northwestern University in 1987 with a B.S. in Business Administration and a Minor in Management. He later went on to Louisiana State University to get his J.D. in 1990. Jerry worked as an Assistant District Attorney in Alexandria from 1998 to 2015. He was also Special Assistant to the Attorney General for nearly 20 years.
